The Mikado – March 2019

Join the multiple award-winning Hereford Gilbert & Sullivan Society from 20-23 March 2019 for this year’s production of Mikado, a topsy-turvy musical satire of English society set in the fictional Japanese town of Titipu.

Featuring some of Gilbert & Sullivan’s best-known songs, including ‘Three Little Maids’ and ‘I’ve Got A Little List’, it is the story of some unlucky star-crossed lovers, an unfilled beheadings quota at the county jail, and one enormous conspiracy with hilarious consequences.

You will laugh out loud in the company of Nanki-Poo, Yum-Yum, Pooh-Bah and Ko-Ko, with all the signature razor-sharp dialogue and fabulously catchy melodies of Gilbert & Sullivan.

Why not join the fun and book your tickets now? Our professional production team is led by Hannah Roper, Musical Director and Alistair Donkin, Artistic Director.
